The 10th of October, the Government adopted the regulations on mandatory toll tags for heavy commercial vehicles above 3.5 tons.
The regulations will come into force on 1 January 2015.
The regulations apply to all traffic involving Norwegian and foreign commercial vehicles with a permitted total weigh of more than 3.5 tons on the entire Norwegian road network.
They apply to heavy goods vehicles that are registered by enterprises, government agencies, county administrations and municipalities or that otherwise are used primarily for commercial purposes.
The Danish brobizz can be used as payment method in Norway.
