FDE is the first company introducing an app for registration of tourist trips through Europe.
The TripVAT app automatically registers the distances in each country by using the GPS in the driver’s phone.
When transferring the data to FDE, the VAT to be paid in each country will be calculated.
TripVAT promises time savings, because you no longer have to complete your haulage accounts manually. Furthermore, the fee will be lower.
The app can be downloaded for iphones and for Android, but to setup you need to contact your contact person in VIALTIS.
Together with FDE, VIALTIS offers VAT registration for coaches in the following countries: Denmark, Germany, Austria, Poland, Croatia, Slovenia and Belgium.
Note that if you are registered for VAT as a haulage company and coach operator in your home country, you must be registered for VAT in the countries you drive to or through, also even though you only drive one or a few trips with passengers.
