Vehicles and vehicle combinations with a gross vehicle weight of 7.5 tonnes and higher will be required to pay toll.
It is official since the 18th of December, the toll operator agreement between the Federal Ministry of Transport and Toll Collect GmbH has been extended for a further three years.
The original operator agreement expires on 31 August 2015. The option to extend the contract was part of the original agreement. At the same time as extending the agreement, the Federal Government has also contracted Toll Collect GmbH to collect
- - tolls on an additional 1 100 kilometers of federal trunk roads from the 1st of July 2015
- - and for vehicles of more than 7,5 tons from the 1st of October 2015
