Forwarding agents/Road Hauliers

1. How do I get started with Trailermate?

  • To be able to use Trailermate, you must contact your VIALTIS office and get a subscription.

2. On which platforms can I use Trailermate?

  • Trailermate can be accessed though the internet and through an APP on iOS and Android phones and tablets. The APP is not accessible on Windows phones and tablets.

3. Which web browsers support Trailermate?

  • Trailermate.dk is designed for being used with Google Chrome and works best with this browser. You can download Google Chrome by following this link.

 


 

Questions - Drivers

1. How do I get started with Trailermate?

  • To be able to use Trailermate, you must contact your road haulier and be registered under his subscription. Then you can log in through the Trailermate APP.

2. On which platforms can I use Trailermate?

  • Trailermate can be accessed though the internet and through an APP on iOS and Android phones and tablets. The APP is not accessible on Windows phones and tablets.

3. Why can I not download the APP?

  • Check if you have enogh free space on your phone or tablet. If you still cannot download the APP, then contact APPle Support or Google Play Support for help downloading and installing the Trailermate APP.

4. Why can I not log on?

  • Check if you have internet connection if you log on for the first time.
  • Check if the Trailermate APP writes "Wrong username or password".
  • Check if you have written username and password correct.
  • If the Trailermate still shows error message, please contact your road haulier or forwarding agent for updating login information.
  • If your road haulier or forwarding agent cannot help, please contact your VIALTIS office

5. Why does the Trailermate APP not work?

  • Close the Trailermate APP totally and start up again. Check if the phone has internet connection, if it is the first time the user logs on.

6. Does the Trailermate APP require that I have internet connection?

  • First time you log on, the APP will download the forward agent's and/or the road haulier's accessible trailers. VIALTIS recommends using a stable internet connection the first time you log on.
  • Following, the Trailermate APP requires connection when picking up trailers.
  • When delivering the trailers there is no internet connection required. The APP saves deliveries and will automatically send the report at first opportunity.

7. I cannot find the trailer I am to pick up in the Trailermate APP?

  • Press Menu  → Refresh. Or;
  • Close the APP and open again (Android: Press the "APPs" button all the way down and chose "Close all" or swipe the Trailermate APP to the side. iOS: double click on the home button and swipe the Trailermate APP up.). By doing this, the APP checks the APP server and draws a full trailer list. This requires no internet connection.
  • If the trailer still cannot be found then contact the forwarding agent and check, if the trailer is registered in the system.

8. Why can I not send a report?

  • Check the menu option "Log" in the Trailermate APP.
  • Is the report line YELLOW, the APP has no internet connection.
  • Connect the phone to the internet and press the button "Send all".
  • Is the report line RED, an error has occurred and an error report is to be send.
  • Press the red line in the menu option "Log".
  • A report page will appear and here you press the "Send E-Mail" icon in the upper right corner.
  • This will start the phone's/tablet's e-mail program and send the report.
  • Sending the e-mail requires internet connection.

9. Can I upload picture from a digital camera for documenting the damages?

  • The phone's own camera must be used for documention of damages.

10. The APP looks strange on my tablet/iPad.

  • Trailermate is developed for Smartphone format. This implies that the format is not APPlicable for a tablet/iPhone.
