The VIALTIS Group, a specialist in road transportation services and a leader in cost reduction, has announced the launch of a new free service with high added value for international road transporters.
Aix en Provence, 25 May 2010:
The myVialtis.com secure website serves as an information gateway between VIALTIS and its customers. It aims to provide key information enabling them to prepare and optimise the costs of their various journeys across Europe.
Following on from the recent launch of the "Diesel Optimisation Programme" offer and available since the 1st April 2010, it is now used both in France and abroad by some of the biggest hauliers. This highly intuitive and efficient tool is available in 11 languages.
Online services include:
- A European journey simulation tool incorporating Google maps technology and offering advanced functions: itineraries, fuel consumption, service stations and secure parking in partnership with the IRU;
- A variety of practical information with real‐time updates for improved journey planning: fuel prices in more than 29 countries (source: IRU) as well as prices at the pump and services available at each service station;
- Management tools indicating fuel consumption by vehicle, country or service station, consolidated for all petrol suppliers;
- Access to dematerialised customer information management: online and current contract request module.
The customer area will be updated very soon and a version 2.0 will incorporate other services offered by VIALTIS, for example toll payment. Finally, it will be possible to consolidate all the data linked to a fleet of lorries or a particular registration. For example, customers will be able to cross‐reference all information relating to each vehicle: fuel consumption, tolls, etc.
