Aix-en-Provence, France, 17th October 2011:
VIALTIS specialises in services for international road hauliers and is an accredited distributor for the TOLL2GO automated toll payment system.
The new TOLL2GO system is interoperable in Germany and Austria, and allows German and Austrian toll charges to be paid using a single unit.
TOLL2GO is the result of a partnership between the ASFINAG (GO-Box System) and Toll Collect GmbH companies. This service will allow hauliers to use the current Toll Collect unit (On-Board Unit or OBU) to pay toll charges and road taxes in Germany and Austria.
For hauliers using the German and Austrian road networks, VIALTIS offers subscription assistance for the new service and provides OBUs for vehicles with a rated gross vehicle weight of 12 tonnes and over, as well as a range of additional services (toll card management, monitoring of online transactions and invoices, automatic deduction of Austrian VAT, etc.).
Régis Cottereau, Director of Road Activity, explains: "The new TOLL2GO interoperable system makes things a lot simpler for road hauliers. And once again, VIALTIS has confirmed its commitment to offer customers an ever broader range of services and to promote systems encouraging automated toll payment interoperability throughout Europe - yesterday in France and Spain, today in Germany and Austria".

Aix-en-Provence, France, Thursday 30 June 2011
As the official distributor of the viaTOLL electronic toll collection system, VIALTIS is proposing the viaBOX electronic badge to European carriers for the payment of road tax in Poland.
The new compulsory road tax, which can be paid using the new viaTOLL electronic toll collection system, comes into effect in July 2011. It applies to vehicles with a gross weight of more than 3.5t and coaches with more than nine seats that use certain sections of toll motorways, express ways and A-roads. To begin with, this network will cover 1,600 kilometres of Poland's busiest roads, and, by 2018, could be extended to include 2,000 km of motorways, 5,000 km of express ways and 600 km of A-roads.
Just like vehicle tax in Poland, the income from the viaTOLL system will be used to finance the Polish National Highways Fund, which will make additional investments in the development of the highways network in Poland and in the modernisation of the existing road infrastructure.
The information used to pay the tax will be collected by the electronic viaBOX, which will be mounted on the windscreen of each vehicle and is fitted with a DSRC-type short-range, wireless communications technology. This compulsory tax will be strictly controlled by the Polish authorities, and evasion will be punished by fines of as much as PLN3,000 (about €750).
Thanks to VIALTIS, hauliers will be able to fit out their vehicles before entering Poland, thereby avoiding the risk of having to wait at the distribution points and the risk of being fined.
This new service offer confirms VIALTIS' position as a major force on the European electronic toll collection systems market.
"As the direct distributor of viaBOX electronic badges, we are now in a position to offer carriers who regularly travel through Poland, or who only occasionally use A-roads and motorways in Poland, a very competitive service", states VIALTIS' Sales Director, Giovanni Fotia.
The services and options in the VIALTIS viaBOX offer include fortnightly post-paid billing and free access to customer transactions on the on-line customer pages on myVialtis.com.
"We have already been distributing the similar Toll Collect system in Germany for several years. So we are well experienced in electronic toll collection systems in Europe and currently offer card- and badge-based solutions in six European countries. viaTOLL will extend our portfolio of electronic toll collection services in order to meet the needs of domestic and international carriers", adds Giovanni Fotia, Sales Director at VIALTIS.
VIALTIS is proposing a special offer to celebrate the launch, including the supply of badges free of charge - a saving of €5 per electronic badge - for all orders placed before 31 August 2011.
