From 1 January 2019, changes will be made to the "Truck Plan" discount programme.
As setforth in clause 43 of the General Terms and Conditions for the construction, preservation and operation of highways, toll discounts or reductions applying to Heavy Category 2 vehicles may not exceed 13% of the toll value. The recent implementation of the subsidies approved by the Ministry of Development, intended for Heavy Category 2 vehicles on highways, is inconsistent with the current Truck Plan discount programme for HGV.
For this reason, "Autopistas" is obliged to withdraw the discounts established for Heavy Category 2 vehicles from the Truck Plan programme. Given that this inconsistency only affects the aforementioned category, those below this limit will continue to receive the current discounts.
