As of 1 April 2018, DarsGO will be the mandatory tolling system in Slovenia for heavy vehicles
As of 1 April 2018 the Slovenian toll operator DARS is going to be replaced by a new, and free-flow, tolling system called DarsGO
All the heavy vehicles with the maximum permissible weight over 3.5 tonnes will have to be equipped with an OBU.
The toll rate in the electronic toll system will be published in the Toll pricelist for using toll roads, which will be published on the website www.darsgo.si at least 30 days before the start of the new toll system.
Supervision of Slovenian toll payment for vehicles whose maximum permissible weight exceeds 3.5 tonnes will be performed by toll supervisors. Irregularities will be detected by the DarsGo tolling gantries and by mobile units of toll supervisors, equipped with a manual equipment or equipment which will be built into vehicles of toll supervision. Toll supervisors are official authorised persons who have the authority to detect toll payment violations and issue penalties to violators.
Beginning 2018, VIALTIS will inform you about all the necessary no matter if you already have a Toll solution in Slovenia or not.
Your current VIALTIS solution is still valid until 31 march 2018.
