To reduce the inconvenience to commuters travelling on the A22, the Autobrennero motorway in Italy has promoted the “URBANPASS initiative”, which provides a 100% discount on toll for all telepass customers at certain defined times.
Below are the details of the initiative:
- Starting date: 1.11.2019.
- Duration: initially planned for 12 months.
- Activation procedure: at the Centro Servizi Trento Nord. Activation must be done for each telepass contract (truck company).
- Routes concerned: Trento nord – Trento sud (both directions), Trento centro – Trento nord (both directions), Trento centro – Trento sud;
- Times and days when the initiative is active: from Monday to Friday (excluding holidays) between 06:00 and 9:00 am and between 17:00 and 20:00 pm.
- Reduction of the fare on the routes indicated: 100%.
- Type of transactions subject to the discount: only transactions made with the Telepass device.
- Vehicle classes: all classes.
