International drivers in France must have a document attesting their trips purpose

On 28/10/2020 the French president took measures to reduce to a strict minimum the contacts and movements throughout the metropolitan and Martinique territories, establishing a lockdown from 30/10/2020 until 01/12/2020.
Facing a sanitary situation that continues to degrade, travel restrictions are entering into force on metropolitan and Martinique territory and non-essential trips are no longer authorized.

International drivers are allowed to drive in France but they must have a document with them to prove that it is for professional reasons.
Either use the Document called « Attestation de déplacement dérogatoire » in French or « EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE DURING LOCKDOWN » in English.

Get the certificate on the webside: https://www.gouvernement.fr/en/coronavirus-covid-19.
The document is also available in digital format: https://www.interieur.gouv.fr/Actualites/L-actu-du-Ministere/Attestations-de-deplacement.

Important information for international drivers in European countries

International drivers should have with them a working certificate issued by their employer or a professional card which can be accepted as permanent authorization for mobile employees (road transport, aso).
For the road transport, the European model of the working certificate (annex 3) is valid as certificate for the national territory.
As this certificate is accepted also in the other countries inside the EU, we recommend to the transport companies to use this documents during their international trips.
