Autopistas, an Abertis company, has eliminated the discounts of up to 50% that it had been applying in tolls to heavy vehicles that circulated along the Altafulla-Vilafranca and Macanet-La Junquera sections on the AP-7 and the Borges Blanques section- The Plà de Santa María on the AP-2.
Since the 20th of April transport companies “will have to pay the full price of the corresponding tolls, without being aware about modification in the price of the highway, and most likely they would not have been knowledgeable until the invoice for April arrived”.
FETRANSA, the Spanish Road association, regrets "the lack of rigor and transparency when it comes to informing the sector in a formal and sufficient way so that the information reached the carriers before the elimination of these bonuses”.
